Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Arts-Honours Degree in Sociology from York University and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Addictions Treatment and Prevention from Georgian College. Having completed the coursework for her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Degree through Yorkville University, Kennedy now joins the team at Huma. Kennedy is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.

Kennedy has over 10 years of experience include working with clients with depression and anxiety, body image concerns, mindfulness, adult survivors of child abuse, trauma, OSI, chronic stress and health related challenges, and those struggling with addictions. She takes an integrative approach to treatment seeking to understand the individual needs of each client and provide a safe space.
